Stitches of Future Past got started with a very small and not quite right potion bottle. I had been asked by a few friends over fall 2020 to make holiday items for them, and they both a. insisted on paying, and b. asked why I didn't have a site to sell what I made. This all happened while my partner and I were playing in a Pathfinder campaign. After watching him have to pick out specific dice from our monster hoard of them for certain damage rolls for the 100th time, I thought I could make him a little potion bottle to keep those elusive dice in. That design eventually became our Potion Vial Dice Organizers, and from there (and making gifts that taught me new techniques and shapes) my pattern designs started to grow. Those patterns and some snarky dnd themed embroidery felt like a good lineup to start trying to make a business out of this. We aim to keep in mind with our creations a sense of humor and style, but also including those who are often left out of representation. Hopefully you will find a friendly family here.

At it's core, that's what I want this little community to be about: sharing knowledge, helping each other out, and supporting each other. Creating a family. The blog will have tutorials for the physical crafts, but also discussions about how to figure out making your own designs, if YOU have any makes you've had trouble with that maybe we can help you figure out, and also how to find creators to support that are underrepresented, i.e. women, lgbtq, and minorities. And of course, figuring out new and odd creatures to create, like our funny PolarbearPenguin here (my campaign-mates are responsible for him!).
