Spring Updates!

Hello friends! It's been a busy time for the past several weeks but now I've got some updates at last.

First, I am temporarily not taking custom orders (until the third week of May, for any interested) due to accidental exposure to poison oak. The treatment is going well but the initial issue unfortunately spread to my hands before the doctors figured out what it was, and hives make crafting rather difficult.

On to more exciting things! This summer I have two events booked thus far, and I'm excited to share them with you and hopefully see some of you there. In June, I will be co-hosting a panel with Joe from Quest's End Trays at the Philadelphia convention Too Many Games about crafting with gamers in mind. Our panel will be that saturday (6/24/23) at 12:30.

The second event confirmed for this summer is Stolen Con at the Stolen Sun Brewery in Exton Pa, on Sunday Aug 6th (10am - 6 pm). The website is not live just yet but I'll update with a link for tickets as soon as it is. (And thanks to Dicey Situations for bringing me in to these great events!)

Now, to upcoming products and projects for this summer. Pride month is just around the corner, and while I'm a little slower because of current medical issues, I have a full selection of fun creations coming out this june for purchase. Pride succulents will be available as wreaths, individual potted plants (with pride flag pots!), and as hairclips. The pattern for those is already available as a freebie in this blog post for your enjoyment. My horned headdresses are also coming out for sale, with a lovely rainbow option available, as well as some weathered versions (think cracked lenses on goggles, broken horns) for those who like to cosplay more experienced adventurers. As of this post, the horns will be initially released as steampunk goggle sets and as flower crowns, with more designs to follow.

For the rest of the summer, I have a few other projects in mind that will hopefully emerge in time for fall, in particular additional plushie creatures (with D&D stats and maps for their encounters), as well as cosplay amulets and cauldron purses. Stay tuned for those, I'm really excited about the designs I have in progress and can't wait for them to be at a sharable stage.

Last but not least, Patterns! This summer, I'm planning on releasing patterns for my horn sets, my dragon plushie, and more towards the fall, my snowflake hat and an adult pattern, the leafy holiday hat. All of these will feature detailed pictures and my checkbox system, and are really fun projects to boot. I'm also hoping to open a "roll your dragon" option for sales, where you can trust the dice to see what sort of fun little companion is coming your way (and see the rolls on tiktok!), but more info will come out on that as I get it set up.

If you've stuck around through this novel, thank you so much for your support and I hope you're as excited about this summer as I am! Stay tuned for the next fun patterns and updates!
